1. Welcome to Excelsior Higher Care

After you have selected your plan, you will receive a:

A.) A welcome email with plan information and an e-Member ID card.

B.) A welcome phone call to review your plan benefits, current providers, medications, and answer any questions you may have.

2. Accessing Care

A.) Emergency Care – Call 911 or go to an Emergency Hospital.

B.) Urgent/Routine Primary Care – Call the 24/7 Telemedicine Provider.

C.) All Other Care – Contact our Care Coordinator Team. They will arrange your No-Cost Primary Care, Specialty Care, Lab Work, and Diagnostic Imaging as well as fairly priced Facility Visits, Surgeries, etc.

3. Receiving Care

Your Provider or Facility will be expecting your visit.

A.) Your provider will bill Excelsior Higher Care directly, other than for any Copays if applicable.

B.) Our Care Coordinator Team can assist with ongoing care, follow-up visits, medications, etc.
